Those evidence collectors need to hit the gym. They look soft.

I wonder how many of you would be so supportive of JJ if it were you on the ground getting your face kicked in? Or how about your brother, or son, or friend? You might want to press charges, too, just maybe. And for those saying a broken back isn't serious!?? That stays with you forever.
The act as described was criminal and it has consequences. If he is guilty of the accusation, then he should be prosecuted. Apparently there is enough circumstantial evidence to search his home so it isn't looking good for him. Your football team will be fine either way. Life goes on.

If JJ is guilty, he sure looked calm. He had his RR face on, and was chest-bumping his lawyer.

I have tried to stay out of this, but this is embarassing. It really, really is. This is a complete waste of resources period.
I lived in BR for about 24 years, and thank goodness i'm out now. I've seen police watch guys walking around with guns hanging out and not say a word.
Also for those who keeping JJ kicked this guy and he deserves, prove it. Give a witness statement. That is unless you have no idea what your talking about. Why don't we wait until something actually comes out from the police before we start stoning the guy.
Last time I checked this is America, and you are still innocent until proven guilty, even if you are not a popular black quaterback. Yeah, I said it!

It's gotta be done given the circumstances.. Unfortunately.. And if you want to know why there's a curfew imposed on athletes.. it's to avoid crap like this.

OKTC has learned that the Marine at the center of an investigation into LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson, Andrew Lowery, has a criminal record in the state of Florida. In particular, Lowery was arrested in Okaloosa County in 2008 for a violation of Florida Statute 812-014, a theft statute. Lowery, pictured above in his mugshot, was charged with theft and placed on probation for the offense. You can review his probation agreement in Okaloosa County here.
On July 28, 2008 Lowery pled no contest to the crime of petit theft and was sentenced to 24 hours of community service, ordered to pay court costs, and sentenced to six months probation.
This is a significant revelation because past criminal history involving dishonesty can be used to question the credibility of a witness in cases such as these.
Lowery's name and past criminal history furthers a story that appears to be near a boiling point in Baton Rouge.

Why did they need to take all of his shoes? Just look at the video they have, and take that pair. OH ya......

yeah this is fricking silly
i wonder how many times BRPD has obtained a search warrant in relation to A frickING BAR FIGHT they were called out on
its a fight, not a rape
cooler heads need to prevail. and with the quickness.

When I was attending LSU I lived near Tigerland in what used to be called Sterling Apartments. One evening our group got separated late and couldn't find each other outside of Fred's. So me and another friend walked back to my place. My roommate after a few minutes decides to walk back himself. He is mugged and pistol whipped on top of the head. He requires staples to close the gash. He was also woozy so he probably had a combo of blood loss and concussion. But not a single finger was lifted by BRPD other than the initial report. Now had he been a football player or the assailants football players, SHITSTORM.

Agreed. I feel guilty for even being this interested in all of this shite. I just watched a video of police taking "evidence" from a college student's apartment... because of a bar fight.

Does anybody have a pair of shoes they can let JJ "borrow" for the next few weeks until his 49 pairs are returned to him?
