I fish with a guide in Bay St. Louis who's got a 26 Twin Vee- awesome set up- can run it in the marsh and looks like you could still run offshore with it. Roomy, really stable, nice ride, and the Twin Vees (in that size) go for about $60K- so I think it's a good value also.

I have been spending allot of time on The Hull Truth forum and twin vee seems to get some hate. But I take that with a grain of salt as twin vee is probably the largest manufacturer of catamarans in the states. Has your buddy had any hull issues? Seems that only the older ones had problems.
