Gotta be one of the top 3-5 teams at least, right?

Seems like most of the expansion talk revolves around football, but obviously it effects much more than that.

I prefer to think the SEC doesn't have basketball. Makes it easier on me as an Auburn fan. But they'd have to be one of the top teams. Instant contender for sure.

They'll do well in basketball. I think they have a solid baseball program too

They'd probably win the West.

We are awesome at everything. HTH.

Seriously though, we were horrible in basketball. We went 0-17 in conference around 2003 or so. Hired Billy Gillispie and have now made 6 straight NCAA tournaments. Our coach left for Maryland recently and we hired Billy Kennedy. A Louisiana boy. We will be preseason top 15 likely and have some studs committed to be coming in a year or two.

We are not Kentucky or Florida but have built a nice little program.

And we went to the CWS in baseball this year but it was our first trip since 1999. We had some good teams in that span and kept losing in supers. Lost to LSU in a super around 03 or 04.

So, don't worry we won't bring any dead weight to the conference! And for Tenn fans our girls are basketball national champs

Baseball might not be a big moneymaker but in SEC country it's the only thing to pass the time until the awfulness of July.

I follow recruiting very closely. It helps get me through July.

And I love going to baseball games. One of my personal favorite reasons about the move to the SEC

And then you ran into the SEC.

FIFY. But no one was going to beat SC this year, they were too determined to win back-to-back titles. I just didn't expect them to run the table through the tournament.
