A&M still got that sacred grass?

Last time we went to road game in College Station, one of the guys in our group got arrested for throwing up on the sacred grass.
We flew in from New Orleans to Houston on a package deal. Bus took us from there to College Station. We were getting pretty toasted on the flight and subsequent bus ride to the stadium.
Later, while in the stadium we hear the PA announcer ask another guy in our group to call his buddy "at the jail." (Keep in mind this was long before cell phones.)
Basically he got arrested for vomiting on the sacred grass and used his one phone call to call the stadium.
When we got back to the bus, we had to go bail him out at the jail, but we didn't know which one and ended up going to three different jails.
If you still have that stupid sacred grass, you had better be sure it's blocked off with high walls or something. I intend to desecrate it if you don't.

I'm sure he was arrested for PI for being too drunk to read the signs asking to stay off the grass.
And the grass is a memorial to those that have lost their lives in war. Feel free to do whatever you want while aware of that fact
Just tailgate on west campus with me. No sacred grass anywhere

So, out of all the different types of monuments they could have chosen, they chose grass? Sounds like someone was a little short on cash.

Haha. It's the grass outside the Memorial Student Center. Hats aren't allowed inside the MSC also. But there's signs everywhere and people politely remind you if you don't realize.
It's only an issue for the jagoffs that refuse to take off their hat or stay off the grass
I'm sure all you guys are cool

The Memorial Student Center and the grass surrounding it is a memorial to all the former students who died serving the country. The tradition is to not walk on the grass, and remove hats inside the building as a sign of respect, not to the school, but those same people you get Memorial Day off for.
Do whatever though. This is the internet, and its easy to talk tough here.

How obsessed do you have to be to poison a rival's trees. Guess it's kinda like stealing a rival's nutless bovine and sawing it's horns off. touche.

Actually, I can't wait until the first guy walks across the grass there and someone shouts 'hey! get off the grass!' and he shouts back 'frick you!'
Everyone in maroon within earshot stops talking and turns like children of the corn. Would be the equivalent of someone throwing beer at Mike the Tiger in a crowd of LSU fans.
Yikes, scary mental picture that.

It's gonna happen. A lot. Just so you know.

Who cares about the grass? I hope Dick Burleson is able to travel that far.

I'm sure there'll be a learning curve, but if someone's a jackwagon they're going to be treated as one. Personally, I'm looking forward to learning about the SEC's traditions and don't plan on being disrespectful toward any of 'em.

I see a lot of piss bombs in that grass in the near future!
BTW - that's one of OUR traditions!
