Will do, pal. Just as soon as Slive calls and asks me how I vote.

Pretty sure Slive reads the board. I can't remember his username though.

I don't think Mizzou wants any part of the SEC. Hell seen what happen when they faced Oklahoma 2 times in one year. Now try facing 5 teams with OU's talent in one year. Mizzou don't have the athletes to compete in the SEC.

I disagree at least from what I've been reading on one of their boards.

ETA: They realize that what you say about their athletes is true, but they also know that the BIG XII is a dead man walking and that it does not get any better than the SEC.

Haven't been to any boards for Mizzou. Even though I'm in Missouri. I'm in Joplin which is not Mizzou country, more fans for OU, Arkansas and Missouri State down here. I read in the STL paper about Mizzou and the SEC. I'd love for Mizzou to join the SEC, that way I can drive to Columbia to see LSU play up there.

There would definitely have to be a name change stipulation if they came in. Maybe the Clemson War Eagles and the Missouri Plainsmen

You're just a little closer to Columbia than me. But like you I am closer to it, Nashville and Oxford than Baton Rouge. Would love to tailgate in Columbia and show the Bratwurst and bean dip crowd what it's all about.

Yes, to Missouri and the St. Louis and Kansas City TV markets. No, to Clemson which brings nothing to the table.

Too many tigers. That would suck.

Auburn v. Clemson Gameday Predictions. Tigers by a field goal.

Yeah, that's not gonna work.

Clemson is probably a no-go anyway.

True, because they realize that as soon as AtM goes, the Big 12-2-1 has as much long-term stability as a Joplin double-wide. They'll take the first offer that comes along, and the SEC is much more likely than the Big-10.

They're already pissed at the Big-12-2-1 over the bowl selection process and Texas' $. Their noise about leaving for the Big-10 is what got Nebraska moving and started this whole mess.
