only logical explanation for this buzz. Certainly the SEC wouldn't add just one team. So it's basically a "replacement" anouncement. Vany more suited for the Big 10.

Vandy is staying in SEC for forever. They want SEC, and SEC wants them. They learned what not to do from Tulane.

Vandy not getting booted, they want to leave. They can't compete monetarily and in football. They want to move to the Big 10 with the likes of Northwestern and Michigan, schools they feel they are more similar to academically.

Vandy belongs. That said, it would be nice to see them in the Big10 beating those schools every weekend.

this, and they'd get less money in the Big 10 and less ticket sales playing the likes of Northwestern and Purdue

They'd knock around Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, maybe Northwestern on a down year but seriously. Come on.

Will your promise to perma ban yourself if you're wrong? If you're so confident about it, put your balls where your mouth is.

It's going to 13 teams for a year. That's always been the story. Still is. All the other buzz from ESPN (t.u.'s partner) is to piss off Florida and Georgia and scare them in to a "NO" vote on A&M. SEC is wise to it. Vandy ain't going anywhere. Calm down.
Check out Billy Liucci on Twitter. He has the REAL scoop.

stupid looking or not, that dude has the inside scoop straight from the BOR and President. He was on Finebaum after that idiot from 24/7 got on there and embarrassed himself. Billy set the story straight.

The absolute need for a 14th team is all a bunch of spin and smear from ESPN. There will likely NOT be a 14th team until 2013.

I was half joking. But that is certainly plausible.
