SEC contract and SEC expansion

I may be missing something but what guarantee is there that the SEC will be able to demand a larger contract by expanding to 14 or 16 teams.
Since ESPN is really the only network with enough outlets to televise that many SEC football games don't they hold all the cards?
Think about it. NBC can't and won't jump in the bidding. ABC doesn't have the outlets.
In a bad economy ESPN can use the poor man's tale too.
I think we just gave ESPN the keys to the kingdom.

Adding teams in new markets will be a plus, depending on the markets. Moving the SEC brand into the state of Texas will challenge the Texas network.

ABC literally owns ESPN

CBS has first shot, if they have the ability to include Texas in their market share, more $$$.

huh?
NBC/Versus are the same. Also they own about 10 other channels if they wanted
also SEC could create own network if ESPN balks
also ABC/ESPN are the same
lol, ESPN will be drooling to stay in business with the SEC

If we were adding ULL and Valdosta State you would be right, but, you know, we're not...

There's also the possibility that down the road the SEC can split it's games between two networks.

Yeah, I meant CBS not ABC.
