Where will this theoretical extra money go?

I guess the whole expansion thing is about money.
Where will the extra money go?
Will whatever extra perks (if any) be worth it for a watered down SEC?
I think the ultimate losers in this will be existing SEC fans, because TV companies are going to make that money up somewhere...and our pockets are the obvious target.
Can anyone name 1 benefit - besides extra money which may or may not be used toward a fan perk - for their team?

You mean aside from maintaining our status as the most dominant college football conference as other super conferences are made around the country? I mean would you rather just wait and hope the PAC 16 and BIG 10+6 doesn't happen?
I would rather be on the forefront and play the toughest schedules in the nation... leaving no room for doubt that the SEC champion, whoever it is that year, is THE team to be reckoned with.

Well theres these things called classes....they need teachers...if the other schools in the SEC had any sort of integrity they would join LSU in giving money back to the univeristy

Lots of integrity going on in Louisiana's political systems.

wrong board. You asked where the money would go. The Lsu athletic department already donates a couple million a year I believe to the university for academic purposes. If each school started getting 2x the tv money as I have seen rumored, Id be very disappointed in all of the SEC if half of that didnt go back to the universities.
