Just so LSU fans know... That whole post that stirred up this LSU OP was actually written by a BSU fan that hates Oregon and was pretending to be a Oregon fan. FYI, some of them do it often. They got that trick from U-Washington fans who like to pose on blogs as Oregon fans just to upset the other teams fan base. I really wish the OP had not fallen for this stunt, but sadly you did.

O-Live is perhaps the worst place to go to find out what Oregon fans are thinking. I can't stand the drivel and pointless dick-wagging that goes on there. Any fan with half a clue won't waste their time on O-Live. So if you read it, forget it. Try the Scout or Rivals board for a better idea of what real Oregon fans are thinking.

New Orleans and Oregon are kinda similar now that I think about it. Hippies and vampires and what not.

Oregon fans are Quack! Quack! Quacking too much.
Is another football team bothering them?

First of all, Auburn totally controlled that game until Oregon made a late push,

+1 Oregon fans seem to have forgotten their team was dominated by AU until near the very end. While the Ducks played with heart, they had no answer for the speed and size of their SEC opponent on either side of the ball. Nor will they have an answer on September 3rd.

The LSU comments there look pretty damn "cocky and overconfident" to me. Stupid stuff by-and-large when fans of the #3 & #4 preseason teams feel need to act as if the other would struggle to stay on the field with Utah or Vandy.

What's ignorant is this statement. LA consistently ranks in the bottom 10-20% for just about every academic testing standards across all grades. Just because people don't care about the geography of the south doesn't make them dumb, although there are plenty of dumb people everywhere. When I lived in New Orleans I can't tell you how many times I had people ask where Oregon was? Or how many people think it rains all the time there when in reality 2/3rds of the state is desert and hardly gets any rain.

Just face it a-hole, just because you're from the west coast doesn't make you better than anyone else. Some of the most ignorant motherfrickers I've ever met are from the west coast. And YES, if an adult doesn't know that New Orleans is in Louisiana, or actually believes the whole area is underwater it DOES make them a dumb frick. Every, and I mean EVERY dumb frick I've ever talked to from the West coast must believe everything they see on TV or read (if they can). You'd think with your so called "high academic testing scores" your area would produce such ignorant fricking airheads like yourself. Now run along, have a veggie taco, some herbal tea, get into your electric Subaru car (with your coexist) bumpersticker, smoke your weed and go frick yourself. Oh, and watch out for those earthquakes

FWIW, I don't think putting high academic testing scores in quotations makes it any less impressive....for example:

LSU isn't such a great football program with their recent "national championships" and "10 win seasons."

Funny stuff and I'm not throwning stones --- but if you take out the "inner city" public schools and look at where we really educate our children in LA --- which is widely at Catholic/parochial/private schools - the academics are a whole lot different.

Duck or Tiger - doesn't matter -- this will be a hard fought game that somebody is going to lose... but that team could well then run the table for much of the rest of the year.

For example --- let's say LSU loses to O in game 1 --- then rolls into Alabma with just that one loss ---- do you think the winner of that game on Nov 5 (or thereabouts) is NOT in the discussion for the BCS National Championship?

If O gets the loss and later faces Stanford, USC, UW and rolls into the "Civil War" game on a roll and has 1 loss -- are they out of the discussion?

Hardly.

Good luck ducks... and

Who said it did? I've lived in Kansas for sometime now and spent some time living in Louisiana as well. I don't think I'm better than anyone. I was just responding to that foolish rant.

Your personal idea of ignorant and hasty generalization of people from the west could have a lot to do with your own intelligence. I'm not getting the idea that it's extremely high

I don't know I've never met anyone who falls into this category.

I doubt someone making the above statement should be calling anyone an airhead. Lets break it down. Nothing really to say about the first statement other than it's sounds like something a fifth grader would say. Second I never claimed that the west coast necessarily had high academic testing score, just higher the LA. For the last part of that statement it would seem to me that you probably haven't actually spent much time out west but rather are just repeating hick stereo types. Also there is more out west then California which is the place that tends to have the earthquakes. I don't believe in the 20 years I lived in Oregon there was one, but since I'm now in Kansas I don't believe I'll have to watch out for one either. I'll be in Baton Rouge on monday, should I bring my snorkel since it's under water?
