Lynch said that President E. Gordon Gee received a letter from the NCAA on Aug.?3, but it concerned only procedural matters about the appearance of OSU officials before the Committee on Infractions on Friday.
The letter did not make any references to an ongoing investigation of the football program, Lynch said. He added that Ohio State cannot immediately release the letter because it must first undergo legal review.

They could be being truthful they could also be playing word games.

quote:

The university has received no indications from the NCAA that it will face additional allegations or findings, Lynch said.

quote:

“The university has not received any additional allegations from the NCAA. … We do not anticipate discussing any additional allegations” on Friday, Lynch wrote in a statement.

None of that says investigation. They could still be under investigation and nit anticipate another NOA.

On the other hand it's ESPN and being in journalism today in means having to run with things prematurely sometimes.

Not sure about everyone else here, but I'm almost just getting tired of all the OSU stuff. I honestly just want the NCAA to make their ruling so we don't have to listen to any of this shite anymore.
