Not sure about everyone else here, but I'm almost just getting tired of all the OSU stuff. I honestly just want the NCAA to make their ruling so we don't have to listen to any of this shite anymore.

So why wouldn't you believe OSU if they are being truthful?

It seems pretty fricking clear cut to me.

ETA: Please tell me you saw the link that moron posted Rummy

I'd say you're in the minority.

Any bad news about OSU on TD gets about a million hard-ons.

THAT'S the point - we don't KNOW who's being truthful.

I get that you're an OSU fan, so maybe you have your scarlet and grey blinders on but, at this point, I'm not sure if I want to take ESPN's word for it or OSU's.

I'm not saying that OSU is lying - I'm not saying that ESPN's report is accurate - what I'm saying is that blindly believing either one is difficult until the NCAA speaks out on it.

Don't get me wrong, I hate tOSU about as much as any other poster here. But hearing about this investigation/allegations nonsense pisses me off. I just want to see tOSU have the hammer dropped on them by the NCAA then we can be done with this.

OSU would have major ramifications if they lie about this.

ESPN has zero ramifications if they lie about it. They chalk it up as a bad source and it gets buried.

That doesn't tip the balance at all for you?

To the media?

How's that?

What does it tell you that your university has had a letter for 8 days now from the NCAA, which could be about additional violations, but they cannot talk about it because a lawyer has yet to look it over?

What would the major ramifications be for telling a lie about an ESPN report? or playing word games with it?

Rummel saw it, why not let him deal with it instead of backseat adminning?

You don't think the media would have an absolute field day if OSU lied about this? Yea, that's just what OSU needs

If it is about procedures for the hearing tomorrow, why would they release it to the public prior to the hearing?

On one hand I'm sure they'd love to rub it in ESPN's face, but on the other I'm sure they feel like they don't owe ESPN even that.

Once ESPN sues the school to release it then I'm sure it will surface.

As opposed to the field day that the media has been having with OSU? Don't really see a difference.

Well, then it seems that it would have been easy to say: "The letter that we received dealt with the procedural hearing that is scheduled for tomorrow. Therefore, we will not discuss it until then."

Seems like that would have cleared things up, no?
