2003 Carolina Panthers

as a Carolinian, the 2003 Panthers improbable run to the Super Bowl in 2003 was some of the best football I've ever seen. Just 2 years after a historically bad 1-15 season, the Panthers gained a winning attitude and became know as the "Cardiac Cats", winning 3 of their first 8 games on the road in OT. Another suprising trend to go along with that was the amount of close games they played, with 9 of their 11 wins in the regular season being within 6 points or less.
Here's a good NFL Films strory, highly entertaining to any Panther fans who may be on here- LINK Pt. 2

I remember that 2OT playoff game against the Rams. I was pulling for them because I wanted the NFC south to repeat as Champs.
Does anyone remember when the divisions were realigned how everyone said that the NFC South was by far the worst division? 3 Superbowls and no repeat champs later...

The second half of that super bowl was one of the best I have seen.

I thought we were destined to win after the way our season had gone. Great game though

the '05 team was more talented, but the '03 team had more heart. Oh the memories
