as a Carolinian, the 2003 Panthers improbable run to the Super Bowl in 2003 was some of the best football I've ever seen. Just 2 years after a historically bad 1-15 season, the Panthers gained a winning attitude and became know as the "Cardiac Cats", winning 3 of their first 8 games on the road in OT. Another suprising trend to go along with that was the amount of close games they played, with 9 of their 11 wins in the regular season being within 6 points or less.

Here's a good NFL Films strory, highly entertaining to any Panther fans who may be on here- LINK Pt. 2

I remember that 2OT playoff game against the Rams. I was pulling for them because I wanted the NFC south to repeat as Champs.

Does anyone remember when the divisions were realigned how everyone said that the NFC South was by far the worst division? 3 Superbowls and no repeat champs later...

Just got around to being able to watch those. Thanks for posting, I remember where I was for all the playoffs, great games. Did NFL Films happen to do a segment on the Super Bowl? Would love to check that out too.
