Replaced with "celebration grass"

Bermuda has that great root system and holds together well, especially when you have the high dollar underturf trickle irrigation system that LSU has ...

Questions:

Is this gonna have any effect on trench warfare and the footing or footwear used during the games?

And what about cuts?

Injuries?

I don't know about you guys, but I DON'T like people messin' with MY GRASS

UPDATED/EDITED

I googled it under bermuda

LINK

This is all we need to know!!!

Celebration, already used by the National Football League's Tampa Bay Bucaneers, has been gaining popularity for sports fields worldwide because of its rapid recovery characteristics and its low surface hardness. Surface hardness directly correlates with incidence of player injury. Another appealing feature of Celebration is that it is more Earth friendly, in part because of lower nitrogen needs. Celebration uses 50% less nitrogen than other bermudagrass varieties.

Reduces injuries ... Good enough for Tampa Bay ... similar humid hot climate in Baton Rouge

Celebration is a variation of Bermuda used for locations that get more traction than a normal lawn.

Dammit, this is worst than toonces!!! The bermuda grass was tradition. I can't believe they're changing it. We might as well be wearing new pro combat jerseys every week!!! Consider my season tickets sold.

I love this kind of stuff.

A friend of mine (may read this thread) worked resodding the whole field this summer. Can you imagine, in this heat?
