Chip Kelly & Oregon needs this win

With all of the negative press that Oregon is getting with regards to the NCAA investigation, Chip Kelly absolutely needs this win against us. I say that because Oregon is gonna get slammed when the investigation stuff finally resolves (IMHO), but Chip can at least buy himself some time and remain the head coach if he could pull off a big win against LSU(a top 5 ranked opponent) on a big stage in front of the nation.
You have to figure that many of the university organizations that fund the football program are not happy with Chip right now. I really think Chip Kelly & Oregon needs this win.
I bring that up b/c that may be a key factor that is overlooked when this game is played. I mean, Oregon (whether they would agree to this or not) is coming into this game as a desperate team, at least from a publicity standpoint.
How much do you think this fuels Chip Kelly & Oregon Ducks come gametime?

I think the NCAA cloud is a huge distraction and they are missing 2 key cogs to their defense.

That wasn't my point!....It could just be another factor that fans are overlooking that could make a difference in a play here or a play there.

There are many factors involved in motivating a team--not sure this is a key factor, but it could play a small role. But not having your top corner, Harris available, is going to hurt the Ducks--I don't think LSU has any key players with similar experience out for the game, atleast not yet, with Shep being available.

rjokerlsu.....you are right, we will definately miss Harris. Not only on the corner,he is crazy at kick off returns.....going to be a hell of a game though. Excited to be there...can't wait!

an opponent's emotion doesn't work on lsu, only hard grinding. oregon is not a grinding team and emotion can't carry them. lsu's emotion is the only emotion that can get lsu in trouble.

Agree with you 100 per cent. First game of the season between 2 top 10 teams. Played in front of a sell out crowd. National TV. Jerry Jones magnificent stadium. Doesnt get any better than that and no need for any further motivation.
