Just rewatched this. Does anyone know if Pahokee ever put his name on the sign?

I'm sure after that they took the initiative to go ahead and paint over his name had it already been there

He said during his speech he said he wanted his name to be next to Mel Tillis on the Pahokee, FL sign

Have no idea. However, I do have the Rickey Jackson Cajun Style Gridiron Cookin' Cookbook. A Christmas gift.

Rickey is currently on the motivational speaking circuit. I know Apple had him speak to the company at their convention. He goes over how Mel Tilis is his idol, his home town is the shite, grow fresh vegetables and fish. Oh and Bum Philip was his coach.

I'll never forget how he remembered to thank "Sidewell and them" for bringing him to new orleans

Ricky was the best LB in the league at the time and a true hall of fame player. I enjoyed him every Sunday in the Black and Gold. Who cares how his speech went. All time favorite Saint.
