or the Auburn game when we had their asses whipped and Hallman threw his famous prevent defense that helped their all conference kicker win the game for them as the clock ran out.

People forget that Auburn game and Howard in 1992. Auburn wasn't that good that year and was up 27-7.Howard was a true freshman and hadn't played vs A&M and State and they were talking about redshirting him. Jesse Daigle started and was awful, Chad Loup started and was awful . Not sure if Ryan Huffman played but Howard came in in the third and put us up 28-27 with about 1:00 left and like the above poster said, the prevent let Stan White get them to the 25 or 30 and Scott Etheridge kicked a fg with :04 left.

That was a helluva exciting game and Howard deserved a lot of credit that day. Sadly, we ran out of time and Auburn had the ball last.

That was my first road trip as a student. Crammed into a van with 14 other people. I think it took us 12 hours to get to Auburn because we stopped every 20 miles to buy more beer or piss. Somehow we got awesome seats in the end zone at field level so we had a great view of Jamie's TD throws into our end zone. Wish I had a tape of the game because Jefferson Pilot got a close up of us.

Jesus, it's been 19 years. I hate getting old. And now Curley can't even hold a high school coaching job...
