I'm thinking I'll take Gary Crowton over Lynn Amadee.

That's like asking whether you'd like to be raped by four 500 lbs. men or five 400 lbs. men.

Lynn Amadee is the single worst coach that LSU has ever employed in any sport. Words do not describe how much I hate him. I'd rather have Curley back before I'd take Amadee. Such is the depths of my hatred.

With an average qb, Crowton is very good.

Crowton did great with talent. With Jefferson at QB nobody can be successful. It's a fact.

2007 NC....you Crowton haters are out of control imo, and the two losses were due to the defense...

Now that's funny, I don't give a damn who you are.... ..(and TRUE)..how the hell L Amadee ever got that job is beyond me...he wasn't worth a shite as a highschool coach much less college ...

There were a lot of broken objects and bric-a-brac in dens all over Louisiana that day.

I can remember we just sat there screeching at the TV: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! What are they doing ??????????"

Quite possibly the single worst coached quarter of football in the history of the Milky Way Galaxy.
You have a 23-9 lead, in the 4th quarter, on the road. Your opponent's starting QB is knocked out, you have freshman Dameyne Craig as their replacement, backed up inside their own 20.

Auburn would have not even made it to MID-FIELD, much less score two TDs on their own.

We could have literally fell on the ball 3 times and punted every time, and it would have remained 23-9.

Cowton with Amadee's talent. You'll take Amadee? Are you kidding me? If that were the case, LSU wins out in '94 finishing 7-4 maybe 8-3, Dinardo never makes it to LSU because there is no need to bring back the Magic in '95. No tellin what happens in '96. Maybe they beat Florida or Bama or both and have a very special year. One thing bout the talent from '93, it was not lacking. Youthful, but not lacking. It is an absolute tragedy and ashame that Lynn Amadee is even mentioned in any sort of positive light or comparison of LSU coaches.
