I realize LSU football sites are going to be Louisiana-centric. It's just normal.

But the recruit I am most surprised avout is Avery Johnson, and how far he has fallen in all these recruiting services. He went from being a guaranteed Top-10 player, to a borderline 5-star, to a borderline Top-50, and now he is barely hanging onto Top-100 status.

All this since January, without him playing a single game. Just because someone skips Summer camps, doesn't mean they should fall 90 spots in the rankings.

I think he is painfully underrated at this point. He is every bit as "college ready" as Jarvis Landry was as a high school senior. And last summer, when he reportedly burned 2011 5-star De'Anthony "Black Mamba" Thomas on consecutive long touchdown passes (one of which everyone claimed Thomas had an obvious angle on, but AJ ran away from him.

Louis as a 3 star on any service after the way he showed out at the 7on7s this Summer is a joke. This makes Scout a joke. The rankings always suck on Scout. The content; that's another story.
he hasn't played FB in since his soph yr

predictions of top 50 player is extremely homeriffic at this point. Still waitin on Liggens to commit

Another reason I don't like to take a lot of credit from guys throwing/running in shorts and a tee. Just like Jamarcus wasn't anywhere close to being the #1 player in the nation his senior year until his workouts. Look how that turned out...
