Any new word on this movie?

I know Hardy hates his characters part altough thats what you get for signing on for a big movie without researching your character...Bane = brainless tank via any comic, movie, show you go off of...he has always been a tool for other villans to use in their grand scheme.

I havent been able to watch the trailer yet due to being at work.

I am hoping for a great movie but it would be hard to top the last two movies.

Umm, what? Have you seen any other adaptations of the character aside from "Batman and Robin". And where did you get this information from?

the show when i was a kid always depicted him as a headstrong brash person who could be worked sorta like clayface. kingpin, scarface etc...usually worked him like a puppet aiming all hate and discontent for thier lives through batman the scapegoat for all thats wrong in the world.

the information came from an article asking how he felt about his role and he called it tasteless and typical.

If you can find this article please link it. I would like to read that.

And if Nolan sticks with comics, Bane is a very intelligent villain.

I think, from the comics, Bane is like, the most intelligent and best villain ever. He's like super-human in every way.

Bane is an extremely intelligent villain, and yeah he's never the guy in charge, but he doesn't really want to be. He's a glorified Hitman, and he does his job well. He's likely going to be working with Ra's al Ghul's organization and be the guy they pick to take Batman down.

he didn't say he hated the character, just that he felt somewhat restricted by being in a blockbuster. or at least that's what I got from it.

During knight fall bane was calling the shots. Also how can you say in every adaption he was brain less when clearly you are unfamiliar with the main source.

Bane is probably the most intelligent villian in the comics if they stay true to his character. I'm not seeing what Hardy is griping about. It's a movie with finite source material. What did you expect? Play Bane and STFU. Lucky to even be headlining this movie.

From every source I have read, Batman and Robin is not a freaking source, Bane is extremely intelligent. He figures out Batman's true identity in like a year. Not sure of any other villians that pulled that off.

It seems like he might find out his identity in this one, too, because word is that there was gun fire and explosions heard coming from the mansion doubling as Wayne Manor during one of the night shoots earlier this month.

Hasn't this happened in every Batman movie except for TDK?

I just assume that's going to happen at this point. It's a real shame too although it at least makes more sense in Nolans version since Ra's is the reason they would know.

Considering its very likely Bane is going to be working for them in the film, I don't see this as a problem.

It's called SuperHeroHype and the IMDB forums for The Dark Knight Rises.

There were multiple people claiming to live in the area who say they heard explosions and gun fire coming from the mansion they were using for Wayne Manor.
