Perfect timing considering I just finished season three on disc and I'm going only streaming.

I've never watched this before. Is it worth it?

I suppose like with any movie/tv series, it depends on your taste, but in my humble, it's probably a top 5 tv show currently airing.
edit: I'll pitch it (without the insanely good Don Draper spokesperson skill): It's fascinating because it puts you in a really volatile time in mid-20th century Manhattan, where mass media advertising is starting to explode. That's the backdrop, so you get a look into the psychology and manipulations of ad campaigns.
What it's really about is Don Draper, and to a lesser extent his co-workers and their tumultuous private lives. It's in the "Age of Anxiety" so there's a lot of infidelity, misogyny, urban malaise, etc. There are great arcs for multiple characters, all of whom are well written and varied (besides the overlap of boozing and slutting around).
If you can appreciate great "literary fiction," then you will highly enjoy this show.

I wouldn't have to do this if SOMEONE would have given me their DVD's!
