I am not sure if anybody watches the TV show but Lee Brecheen is a good guy. I have met him a few times. His magazine is pretty detailed. He covers every high school in Louisiana. He does a lot of good work for high schools. One of the most knowledgeable guys in football I have ever met.

Don't know anything about the program but do read the online edition from out here in Texas. LINK
They cover large and small schools.
He is well respected by the high school coaches and keeps up with the kids more from what they'll do for their teams than recruiting.
The Louisiana kids that play for LSU or anywhere else all know him. Before they went to camps and blew up, he was writing about them.
I have actually linked articles here from the online edition. He sometimes has info on players before the recruiting sites.

Me too. He was a pretty nice guy. Dumb and unprofessional, but I'm not sure I'd call him a major toolbag.

he needs a proofreader for his magazine... saying in the previews "this team will play for 60 minutes" in a 48 minute game 
plus lots of spelling errors
he way overrated catholic baton rouge last year, probably because they bought the most advertising
i saw the texas hs preview magazine at wal mart and i think they're better written and do a much better job with predictions despite having to cover like 5x the teams LA has
that being said, i'm still gonna buy it to see what he says about my guys
