The problem isn't the guys he is hiring! It's CPM! He has a hitting philosophy that he makes whoever he hires follow. He said it on the radio about losing Andy C. Was asked how the hitting philosophy would change and he said it has never changed. Doesn't matter who the coach is.

Absolutely get into as many camps as possible. He needs to be a camp "WHORE"(sorry i couldn't think of a better way to say it). I have been involved with recruiting for several years now and that is some of the best advice I could give. Also you could look in to parent consulting services.
Very impressive!! I do a lot of highlight tapes for high school kids in Louisiana. My job is to dissect game film and spot things that I know college coaches want to see. I saw a lot of great things in that video. When I watch a film on a kid I look at it a little different than most people. It was very impressive. This kid will be highly recruited.

Aaron Johnson was supposed to redshirt, but he complained to Coach Mainieri about redshirting and begged to play this season. So Coach Mainieri pitched 2 innings on the year... Or so I've been told.
I would like to know where you got that info. Please email me at hamez1210@yahoo.com so we can discuss this further.

He says Fr. Tyler Moore has won the 1B job out of camp.
Just curious where this came from? I got to watch a couple fall scrimmages and all I saw Tyler Moore play was catcher. How did he do at first? He didn't hit great the games I saw, but didn't do horrible. Is he better at the plate than Dozar?
I am not sure if anybody watches the TV show but Lee Brecheen is a good guy. I have met him a few times. His magazine is pretty detailed. He covers every high school in Louisiana. He does a lot of good work for high schools. One of the most knowledgeable guys in football I have ever met.

Texas De' Brazil. Hands down the best restaurant in
Baton Rouge. It's in Perkins Rowe. Will cost about $120 but is worth every bit of it.

I have heard Johns will see a lot of playing time this year. Heard from a pretty reliable source. Won't be surprised if he is 2 on the depth chart at OLB or starting.

To be looked at by D-I or D-II schools, regardless of your regular position, you need to also pitch in HS and LO pitches a lot of kids.
Your kidding right. Who told you that? That's Crazy. You do not have to pitch and play outfield to get a look at a D-I or D-II.

McGrew has smarts, speed, good at-bats and hits well, but D-I schools and the draft won't come through for him because of his size and well below average arm
I have seen this kid play and his size is not an issue. 5'11" 185. How is that small for baseball? Do you know Tyler. Is that what him and his family are saying? No scholarship or draft will work out?
Live Oak has Tyler McGrew for baseball. He will probably be drafted. Not sure how high. LSU and Southeastern are showing interest. He is the only one I know of from Live Oak.

Because they like to make shite up. Collins is about as big of a lock as we've ever had at LSU.
I don't think this is true. Spoke to some one close to the Redemptorist family and they say the only lock is Jeremy Hill. La'el is not a lock. I was at his game on senior night and when they announced him he said he wanted to attend college after high school but did not specify which. Hill did say he was going to LSU.

our OC is running an offense that is not putting us in a position to win
But yet we haven't lost a game. Do you think that there is any chance that part of the struggle is quarterback execution? Miles is trying to give Jefferson the opportunity to succeed and I think if he doesn't perform well this weekend or gets in a little trouble he won't be playing. Miles is going to give Jefferson the chance. Not so much the OC's fault.

He made the mistake of letting GC control the offense and look at how it almost cost us. Without headphones on...He calls his own play and guess what...We win! Headphones on....we lose....Headphones off...we win! That would be a cool sig...
The reason he took off his headphones was because they weren't working right. He had already took them off to go shake hands with dooly and when he went to put them back on they weren't working. Had nothing to do with what Crowton wanted to call.
He went to Northwestern State University. Was on the 2007-2008 roster but don't know what happened after that. He must of got screwed there to. Didn't do anything. Here is a link.

When statements like this start being made, it is time to blow-up this worthless thread. 4.4 hand timed is 4.6 electronic. STOP!!
Do you know if it was a hand time or a electronic? Where you there? When I say I do work with recruits I mean I have watched a lot of football recruits. I go to select games and watch certain players that are of interest. I can tell you Tyler McGrew is one of the fastest kids I have watched this year and in previous years.
Would you like some proof of that Kolbysfan. I think i can find a way to prove it. I do a lot of work with high school recruits in LA and those forty times are no joke. Legit.

I think he is about 5'9' legit and LSU could ask him to walk-on
McGrew is 5'11" real close to 6'0 legit. He is about 190 to 195 in weight and runs a consistent 4.41 forty. LSU is looking at him for baseball and not as a walk on. I think it will be tough to beat some of the teams in there district but they won't be killed by all of them.

Inexcusable that Springfield scored 27 pts against LO.
They put in all subs towards the end of game and springfield scored a few touchdowns. I think the game was 47 to 7 or 47 to 14 at that point.
