LSU didn't lose that game because of poor officiating or the field. PERIOD. The better team finds ways to play in the conditions, but like many LSU fans, when LSU gets punched in the mouth and doesn't adjust, it's because of the field, the refs, or some other excuse.

Les and company did a poor job coaching in the game. PERIOD. Both teams played poorly actually.

5-1 is a great record in bowls, and LSU fans should be proud of Les and the team for that, but for the love of God stop with the LSU got jobbed by the refs bullshite.

The refs should've likely called delay of game on PSU, but that didn't give the LSU OL the right to go and start dragging the PSU player by leg like he did. They called the right penalty in that situation and the only one LSU has to blame for that is themselves. PERIOD.

I guess North Carolina was jobbed as well then right? Since we are playing fair, or does it only count when against LSU?

Nobody can blame the OL for being frustrated at Penn St blatantly breaking the rules with no call from the refs at the end. That's ridiculous. He lost his cool and we got flagged.. had the refs done their job he never would have touched the player. Penn St was intentionally delaying. Then the refs fricked up with a no-call. Then LSU fricked up and got flagged. In that order.

I'm not saying we would have won the game.. but damn, the refs stole the chance for a last minute come back. Just like PP7 vs Alabama. Had that same OL (was it Lyle Hitt?) pushed a Penn St player no flag would have been thrown.

People seem to forget that we had the lead with a minute to go While we're on the topic of refjobs.. this has absolutely nothing on the arse rape we got from the refs against Ole Miss (the 'clock it' game), we got screwed.

That is a flawed stance IMO.

1. What if the PSU player just ate up the clock and the game just ends?

2. It was obvious that the PSU player was delaying the game and should have been penalized. The refs completely screwed up that situation.

3. The LSU player finally felt if he didn't move him LSU would not have gotten in anymore plays and lost anyways. So nothing wrong with the player's logic.

There is definitely a case to be upset with the refs. Sometimes the refs do completely frick up a game changing moment.

No, i'll admit the LSU/Bama 2008 game as Bama found a way to win it. The Penn St. game was paid off, as was the Auburn 2004/2006

Sorry.

That ranks among the dumbest posts I've seen here in awhile. Simple. Stupid. An I-know-nothing-whatsoever-about-football kind of post.

Sheets of grass sod were buckling up as our receivers were making cuts. It literally was the worst field I have ever seen in any grass field game --- ever.

What a bunch of bullshite. That field didn't decide who was the better team slapdick. that field was such a joke no one should have had to play in that.

It wasn't the refs., it was the field. Worst field I have ever seen a football game on.
