This is one that I made at our house about a month ago. It isn't quite done yet as next year we will be putting more annuals in the bed.
The rock is Arkansas field stone. We use pine straw for mulch. It's more expensive than wood mulch but it last longer.

Yeah I like that stone edge. Looks nice. That tree looks a little sad
