X-Men, animated series from the 90s

I have been watching the episodes (more than I should admit) on Netflix instant. This show brings back many Saturday morning memories growing up, and I still think the animation is superior to many of the cartoons I've glanced at recently.
Being much older (and a touch more cynical) now, and not having to wait at least a week in between episodes, there are some things about the show that bug me. It's only my opinion, but were there any more annoying X-Men than Storm and Jean Grey?
Storm rarely used her powers w/out giving a speech along w/ them. If she had to create a gust of wind to knock a nameless henchman down, she would shout some shite like, "Arctic Winds, blow w/ all your mighty strength!" It had to get old being on a team w/ her and hearing this shite all the time during missions and Danger Room sessions. She was nowhere near as bad as Jean tho.
Good lord, she was a pain in the arse. She was supposedly one of the greatest minds in the world, but she seemed to over-exert herself so easily during the missions. Why did they even bring this bitch around? There's even an episode where she screams at Beast, "Hank, you're a doctor! Get over here!" Bitch, you are too! The worst was when she was the "all-powerful" Phoenix, she would turn into an 80s TransAm hood decal for a few seconds, and then she would faint and rest. Then that only led to her becoming the Dark Phoenix. She would terrorize the shite out of the X-Men, briefly turn back into Jean Grey and beg for help, then frick shite up again. The X-Men (even Cyclops) should have collectively said, "frick this shite!" and took her out for good. Too many cons, not enough pros. Honestly tho, Jean outdoes herself in terms of bitchiness in the X-mas episode by being such a count to Gambit in the kitchen. She literally screams at him to get out of the kitchen and let her cook the dinner. Let's get real, who do you think would be a better cook?
Otherwise, it's a classic and timeless superhero show. Thoughts?

A woman's places in the kitchen so I'd go with Jean before Gambit.

Both storm and Jean were annoying but I was far more annoyed with worthless jubilee's bitching and Bishop's "FOR DA FUTURRRRRRRE!!!!"

Any episode with Apocalypse was the stuff.

The man as in the stereotypical angry black man..."TRAITOR! ASSASSIN! FOR DA FUTCHAAAAA!!!"

Jubilee was shite, but she was never put on a pedestal like the other X-Men. I would have loved if there was a part in an episode where Jubilee fricked something up, and someone like Cyclops or Wolverine would have looked at her, shook their heads, and said, "Goddamn, you suck."

Yeah I might start watching a couple of these every saturday morning as I lay on my couch in agony with a gatorade on the coffee table. I hated Jean even when I was a little kid. She was a materialistic, self-centered bitch who we have all encountered in real life since watching this show as kids. Basically the Jill Taylor of the cartoon world. Cyclops should ve beamed her arse.

Jubilee was alright on the show, but she's a notoriously crappy X Man. Of all of the characters they could have gone with, they chose crappy fireworks girl.

This show had some killer villains. Mr Sinister became one of my favs thanks to the show. Never really noticed him in the comics.
