I was in the same boat as you are in now a year ago. Asked the same question.
I chose Hilton. I travel weekly and am often gone 2 to 3 nights a week. However, I also stay at Marriott branded hotels as well. It really just depends on where I am at.
Ex. In Tyler, Hilton has a horrible selection of hotels. Marriott, OTOH, has a brand new Courtyard Marriott that is rather nice. And surprisingly, Staybridge Suites is very nice as well and new.
If you know where you will be traveling to frequently, look up the different hotels for reviews as that may have an impact on your decision. As someone mentioned earlier, it's hard to beat a very good breakfast at Embassy Suites.
