Walsh's 4 SB wins, no losses is literally the gold standard. I'd have to bet that never happens again.
Until Sean Payton, lol.

I think Bill Walsh should be number one. But I only remember him winning 3 Super bowls( 3 for 3). I am getting older, maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.

Walsh was a pro coach for 11 years before coaching in college for 2 prior to returning to the pros.
I'm not sure that I would call him a "college coach".
I mean, crap, he brought about the "West Coast Offense" BEFORE he went to Stanford...
(oops, wrong thread)

3 would be correct.

My top five would be:
1) Bill Walsh (Invented a new offense that revolutionized the game)
2) Joe Gibbs (Won three Super Bowls with three different QBs and RBs. He's the only guy I can remember that didn't just ride one QB to title after title.)
3) Bill Belicheck (Won three Super Bowls during a time when Parity has ruled the landscape. Shouldn't be able to be that good for that long during this time of the NFL.)
4) Bill Parcells (Won two Super Bowls and lost one.)
5) Bill Cowher (Won one Super Bowl and lost one, but seemed to almost always be in the hunt despite never having a franchise QB until Big Ben, and even Big Ben is on the fringes when it comes to the top tier QBs in the league.)

For me it’s:
1. Bill Walsh
2. Bill Bellichik
3. Joe Gibbs
4. Bill Parcells
5. Bill Cowher
+100000. I might actually put Belichick above Walsh because the Giants were 2-1 against the 49ers in the playoffs during Walsh's tenure and that was in large part due to the Giants defense keeping the 49ers offense in check. In fact, the Giants were 2-0 against Walsh's 49ers with Belichick as their defensive coordinator and the Giants defense completely shut down the 49ers offense allowing just 3 points in each of those two contests.

Jimmy Johnson Has to be top 5. It's amazing how he turned that Cowboys team around and managed all it's personalities
