... to watch current TV episodes? Thinking about dropping Dish and going with Netflix and whatever else will facilitate us keeping current with a few select TV episodes. We have a Wii console that will take care of the Netflix, and maybe more.

TIA

ETA: Please move to Movie/TV Board

I could drop cable easily with netflix. At least for awhile. I do use hulu but just the free one to keep up with a few shows. The free version only shows the last 4 episodes (typically) of a current running show.

Hulu is missing alot of channels though (Discover and History being my complaints)

I think Netflix is a good season or two behind on most TV networks, but I may be wrong.

I use Netflix because I share with my brother. Thought about Hulu but I just download the shows I want to see.

You are correct, but I don't have time to watch a show every week. I was skipping so long between shows that my dvr started erasing episodes and that was just a waste of a dvr.

I've finally said screw it, dropped the dvr and digital cable. I watched all of lost within a year, I'm on hero's right now, they have a few seasons of dexter, and alot more. It's very nice not having to wait 9 months between seasons with cliffhangers like in lost.

I could do without my $150 cable bill and the wife and I are considering dropping it. I would have to wait until after college football season though. We have Hulu Plus (not that great) and Netflix.

Now that I can watch games via ESPN it isn't bad....
Last season I would have a game on laptop and a second game playing on the TV from another laptop....

Then for the big games go to a sports bar like Hooters or a friends house.

Man does this website suck.

Maybe it's just the show I was trying to watch, but I tried 6 links they gave me as options, all lead to a dead end.

Yeah they killed the original site, the new one does suck... However, I have still been able to watch what I want like Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, etc.
Although the selection of links to choose from now has been diminished by 50% so it sucks when they all are using same video and it gets shut down.
