I'm 50/50 on this one. There did seem to be a lack of decent security, and it's a shame that a guy that bought American Outlaw tickets and yet was surrounded by Mexico fans. How did that work out...?

As for the lack of civility, yeah, sounds like butthurt to me. It's an intense rivalry game. If there's cursing and the occasional projectile (I condemn glass bottles, obviously, but plastic bottles, balled up paper - not a big deal in the grand scheme of things) then that's not really out of the ordinary.

I lived in Mexico City a number of years ago, well, visited/went to school for two months. Loved it.

Not anymore. It's not racist or stereotyping when it continues, unabated.

Did you go to the game? No? Well I did. I'm not butthurt, I'm just pissed that we were treated like crap and security was nonexistant. I went to enjoy the game and the Mexican fans made it a miserable experience. People were attacked, cursed at, had beers thrown on them, and yes, even peed on.

And those plastic bottles? My dad was hit in the back by a full bottle of water. The plastic cups? Multiple times I saw FULL glasses of beer thrown at the US fans in front of us. Butthurt my arse. That shite is ridiculous.
