if only 8 teams are profitable, and the majority of these are the aforementioned big clubs, what do you think will happen when they stop being profitable (by losing revenue to higher revenue sharing)?

they'll spend less, make less, and then the big teams aren't marketable b/c they wont' spend as much. then there aren't great teams in los angeles, chicago, miami, new york, etc and fans lose interest, nationally. then the next tv deal is shite and everyone makes even less
