God, the perfect answer. I've never rooted for a Saint like I rooted for Reggie. Flashes of brilliance, injury plagued, constant fluctuation of improvement vs. regression. It's so frustrating.

That being said, the ship finally sailed on my expectations after the Seahawks game last year.

Ronald Curry... This dude was an elite prospect at almost every football position and was also an elite basketball prospect.

If he had focused all his efforts on just one sport, developed his skills more, and could have stayed healthy, he could have been great.

Maybe this is me being a Saints homer, but I always thought Dante Stallworth could have been great if he had a better work ethic and wasn't plagued by injuries. Also Randy Moss. He was obviously was/is a special player, but its scary to think how good he could have been if he had tried harder.

ETA: Peter Warrick was a special player in college, I still can't believe he didn't pan out.

I would like to have seen Nolan Ryan's win total if he was on a contender during the bulk of his career.

What about Justin Vincent, or was his "career" too short?
