Did you ask him if he was buying a lower capacity mag? No, because we all KNOW he is going to buy a high capacity mag. If not, why buy such an expensive rifle to only shoot 5 times?!?

Buying an AR for a first gun with no experience is like a guy that gets a pitbull with no experience raising a dog simply because he thinks it will make him cool.

I didnt ask anything, I dont care what he gets.

I use smaller mags because a 30 rd mag is aggravating while laying in the prone.

It's a gun, not a dog. Pull trigger...boom. While I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone not M&P would want want of those shitty things, it's not any more of a problem than any other center fire rifle as a first gun.
