A few people are. The point is, at some time in our lives, we were all inexperienced oh handling/operating firearms. It doesn't matter if you were 6 or 36 when you learned, it's never too late to be a responsible gun owner.

Agreed. My father taught me to use a shotgun and a bolt action rifle but everything i learned about semi-auto rifles and hanguns was self taught as he has never owned any military style rifles. Just read the manual that comes with the rifle and field strip it a few times.
