Very Barkley-like of James to say this. I dig it.

Wade was better then Dirk(since you go by points)

Wade and Dirk are right about even as far as ability, and their scoring pretty much reflects that. I already said Wade is better than LeBron though so you're not really telling me anything I didn't already know.

I've stated the entire series Wade > James. So if the best player for the Heat is better then the best player for the Mavs...why should James(#2) play better then they best play for the Mavs?

Besides..you've yet to answer my question about Pierce being better then Kobe.

Nah, they might be a little to challenging for somebody who struggles to grasp the concept that basketball is a team sport.

WTF? Dirk and LeBron JUST PLAYED IN A SERIES AGAINST EACH OTHER THAT ENDED LAST NIGHT. And you think making some retarded statement about Marino and Dilfer (who never played against each other in a Super Bowl) has anything to do with that? If you watched the same series I did and still think LeBron is better than Dirk, then you need to take up knitting.

How about grasping the concept of relevance, you wanna start with that one and move to cliches?

He isn't. Which is what I've been saying this entire time. But it looks like you've finally come full circle to admit Dirk's better than LeBron.

I love he states it so matter-of-factly like he can't understand why anyone would think LeBron is the better player based solely off this series.

Coming from you this is almost a compliment. I'm not biased at all, I'm a Rockets fan. I just know more about sports than you, that's all. If you and Phil want to sit there with a straight face and tell me LeBron is better than Dirk after watching Dirk dominate him to win a ring, that's fine. It just makes you look like idiots.

FWIW, the best player in the world will never be held to 8 points in a Finals game unless he leaves the game with appendicitis in the first quarter.

^^^This

People are enjoying the fact that LeBron lost. No one is celebrating the Mavs win, but throughout sports bars across America, guys were salivating as the clock ticked to triple-zeros and LeBron lost. There is something fundamentally wrong with that train of thought, and LeBron is perfectly correct when he puts those people in their place. You can celebrate last night that he lost, but in the morning, you had to go to work and continue your life with no more meaning that it had Sunday morning. LeBron will live his life the way he wants, and he has every right to do so.

He's better at handling pressure, which is pretty important in a superstar player, he's a better shooter, better from the FT line which is pretty big down the stretch as evidenced by this series.....but LeBron averages .5 rebounds more and can jump higher, so he's the better player right?

Better athlete, sure, and if I wanted a WR it would be LeBron all day. But if I'm looking for someone to lead my team to a championship, LeBron ain't the guy. Dirk is and proved it over the past week and a half.

Yeah I woke up to discover that my smoking hot girlfriend still hadn't fricked any of my friends, and my mom also has never been railed by any of my friends. LeBron can't say that. But hey, now that he's lost the Finals all of his problems are gone right? Because he can now go do whatever he wants to do, as long as winning an NBA championship didn't fall into his list of things he wanted to do. I'm sure he wanted to lose in the FInals.

If I told you you could have $1million if you chose correctly, I'm guessing you'd choose that yea, Lebron can actually say that.

No?

Not everyone who rooted against LeBron has problems. If you are going to be anointed as possibly the GOAT and do nothing to stop people from believing it such as getting a tat that states "CHOSEN 1" you better be able to back it up. If you can't you better be able take the choke talk that comes with it. Bottom line LeBron sucked in the finals. He did not live up to his rep, one that he fully accepts. If he is comfortable with his performance then he is the loser not me.

Yes they are. Rashard Lewis said it wasn't true.
