For those that watched the MEX vs CUBA gage last night, thoughts?

I am not sure what to take from it. They won 6-0, but they played CUBA. Chicharito seemed dominate and open in the box, but was it him or does CUBA suck that bad at overing people near the goal?
Also, their passing into box was on target often.
One thing is they looked very aggressive on the attack. A lot of long lob passes, etc to take advantage of 1 on 1 situations.
I think we'll shut that down fast. Although bornstein may favor mexico if he get playing time in this potential matchup.
I hate mexico, especially since they juiced up their chicken fajitas to cheat, but they are worth talking about since they are still a favorite for this tournament.
Also, cuba looked like garbage. I never seen so many players get the ball and panic with only one defender coming at them.

Mexico have had easy opponents. Their first true test will come against CR. I will withhold my judgement of the Mexicans until then.

Watched the first half last night, didn't really learn anything new though.
Mexico is a solid team, Gold Cup favorites for a reason.

yes mexico is playing easy competition but they are blowing them out. they looked good last night but the whole game was played in cuba's third. we will be able to better gage how good they are after the CR match. we dont want to have to out score the mexicans, we want to hold possession and when a tight game. 1-0. chicharito and dos santos are on form and look good up top. they should give our back line fits all day. hopefully we dominate the midfield. its early in the tournament but its shaping up to look like an epic battle in pasadena

Yea, the ball possession must have been like 80% mexico.
But we'll see. Cuba's midfield were like road cones. I never seen a defense that weak before.

It's going to take a monster game from our back line and Jermaine Jones to beat Mexico.
I Hope Ream and Goodson are up to the task, because if this game happens. It won't be easy.

it would be really nice to start beating some of these peons by 6 or 7 goals

If we don't do this to Guadeloupe, I'm scared for our team.

Why were there 46,012 to see Mexico/Cuba in Charlotte?

Because there are at least are 46,000 Mexicans in Charlotte. There aren't a whole lot of big cities in this country where the US fans outnumber the Mexican fans.

I'm going to the final. If it's against Mexico, in California... I fear for my safety.

Is it at the Rose Bowl or the Coliseum? I'm thinking 20-25k US fans and 65-70k Mexico fans.
It seems like there are a lot of Mexican US fans in LA, though. I guess they are galaxy fans who latch on to Landon Donovan.

I didn't think there were that many Mexicans in Charlotte. They're 11.2%.
Well yeah brah.
The final's in the Rose Bowl.
The semifinal in Houston will be a Mexfest as well.
