The only thing worse than an afternoon kickoff is a morning kickoff. TV contracts are quite the hassle.

one more reason for CBS to go f*ck themselves. Seriously I was looking forward to that being one of the ONLY night games next season. We might have just two and they'll be against pieces of shite.

Seriously when looking at the schedule, CBS will probably pick our home games against Florida and Auburn because they are the best matchups those weeks. and since they're going to waste the primetime game on a "not-so-rivalry" with bama and florida, then we'll have our home games in the 3:30 slot. WTF!!!? not one SEC night game. this fricking blows.

Home schedule sucks this year....I'll probably only attend the Florida game

Would you rather LSU suck so we could play our home games at night?

Alabama vs UF most likely to be a blow out if you ask me makes no sense at all to pick that has the only night game over LSU vs Florida or maybe LSU @ Bama. frick CBS

Why is CBS only allowed one night game all season? The mothership/ABC can't handle competition? And what are the chances of ABC picking up an SEC night game for LSU?

I would rather if these tv contracts could respect our fricking traditions. Michigan and Notre Dame still get to play all their games at noon like usual, it'd be nice if we could play ANY of our big games at home. The stats don't lie...for some reason we are dominant at night here, but not so great during the day

From the article:
"...With two exclusive “windows” that day, all SEC home games not chosen by CBS will have to kick off prior to 11:30 a.m., including the LSU-Kentucky game at Tiger Stadium..."
...my question is why can't ESPNU or ESPN2 pick it up for a 6:30pm kickoff?
Honest question people.. no need for a smart arse answer.

CBS has prime-time exclusivity that day. No SEC home game will be on against the CBS night game (Alabama-Florida expected to be the choice).

well in the words of antoine dodson... that "is really really dumb" screw cbs and their lsu hatin' ways. i need that to be a night game so i can get off the cruise ship that morning and still make it to the game!

Why does everyone keep saying this??
The top 2 games next year are LSU/Bama and Bama/Arkansas

Great, this gives Buddy Songy a chance to say "Bourbon & Cheerios"

That was a pretty good run to avoid the early game going back to 2006. I think the ESPNU night slot has helped LSU keep a few extra night games the past two years. All of the home games in 2009 were at night.
The best is that 8 pm slot they played in versus West Virginia and Virginia Tech.
