Then you had the old original Louie's Cafe (before it moved), the Blood/Plasma Center, an old laundromat, Mr. Gatti's, Wendy's, McDonald's, City National Bank, Murphy's, a Movie Theatre, Grocery Store, etc.
You forgot Paradise Records and New Generation, plus Mediterranean Cafe in the early 9's (I loved that place)
Man, he's also forgetting Weinerschnitzel and Blimpies.........
How in the hell did I forget Der Weinerschnitzel?
:) I think there was another bank right next to it? And Blimpie's was right next to Murphy's I think?
And the buildings that housed Godfather's and Shell on the corner changed hands a few times.
I think a record store and another restaurant.
Yeah, the Cotton Club was the nightclub/restaurant farther down on Highland.
I sold ad space in the Reveille to them several times

I don't remember what was next to Weinerschnitzel but yeah, Blimpies was next to Murphys. Got into a bar fight with a frat boy at Murphys once. He thought he was a tough guy and I told him he was a wuss along with his Deke brothers. He asked me to come over to his frat house to meet some of his brothers and "discuss it"
I offered him the chance to meet some of "my brothers". Then he asked what frat house I lived in. I told him my frat house "was Broussard Hall and there are a couple of my brothers (pointing to Leonard Marshall, Ramsey Dardar and Malcolm Scott)". The douche bag still took a swing at me. Big mistake!
