I'm surprised this hasn't popped up yet. I still haven't seen it but have heard it's not all that great. I liked the first one but didn't think it was as funny as people made it out to be. So what has everyone thought so far?

The search option is your friend.
It was ok. Same plot, different supporting cast. ZG seemed to ad lib a lot which worked. Some of the jokes were elementary and others were raunchy. It was a good laugh and I saw it just because I loved the first. But if you can wait, I don't see why not doing so.
ETA: Oh, and if you like dicks. Like a lot of dicks. Don't think twice about not seeing this. Go now!

It was if you read the posts within the topic, but regardless, I still enjoyed it just not as much as the 1st. Basically same movie.

It's getting bad reviews from critics due to it being very similar to the first. I saw it last night and enjoyed it. I laughed my arse off, it did not bother me one bit that it's similar to the first. Some of the situations had me laughing harder than the first ever did.

Go watch it for yourself and make your own judgement. Who cares what others think.

i think i laughed harder at certain points in the 2nd one than i did in the first, however i laughed more overall in the first.

unfortunately most of the good jokes were given away in the trailers

It was okay. Half the jokes involving Alan seemed forced. Other than that it was okay. I'll always like the first one better for just being original...and in Vegas.

if u can get past the fact that it is the exact same storyline, i think its better than the first one. its more outrageous and i like that about it

Idk why people keep saying it's the same plot like it's a bad thing. It's a comedy. Happens all the time. The atmosphere and dialog is much different IMO. Definitely worth a watch. Has the same scheme but good for more than a few solid laughs. Different characters play heavier roles and have different relationships as the first. I'd give it a 9/10 If you loved the first. Maybe a 7/10 if you didn't.

I don't think many people Hate the first one, but it was built up so much that it turned some people off. If you have the slightest interest (enough to make a thread asking about it) you'll like it.

That was me. I wanted to see it, then heard how hilarious it was and got more excited to see it. When I finally did, I barely laughed and was disappointed. The end credits were funnier than the rest of the movie imo.

That said, I almost want to see the second because it's not getting the same acclaim, so I might enjoy it more without the expectations.

I actually find that hilarious. It's part of the joke, IMO. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

It was very funny and worth seeing, but I don't think it was as good as the first.

I saw it earlier today and I thought it was just as funny or funnier than the first one.

A comedy sequel that's basically a remake of the first movie? No way!

The original isn't that funny; it was just the 'it' movie of the time.

Didn't think it was quite as good as the 1st but still a pretty funny movie. Didn't bother me at all that it was so similar
