don't know if anybody watches this yet but better talent than idol. Just found out the girl on there right now was ben affleck's daughter on jersey girl

i remember this girl singing Creep from the first episode. She sang a Nirvana song better than any celeb i've ever heard sing it.

imo the last girl was better than the two sisters. Cee lo has had some tough decisions so far though

she was, but i think he saw the sisters would get votes from the teeny crowd, so he had to, somewhat unwillingly, go with them.
I'm not sure the talent is better than AI... some of the singers have been pretty average. But they've got some good ones too.
Also, I feel sorry for anyone who picked Blake Shelton as their coach over another judge. He's terrible.

Agreed. I didn't even think it was that close, but I'm not the music expert.
And I thought the artist (the preacher's daughter as we were reminded 10 times) Blake didn't pick on "You Can't Hurry Love" was probably better, but she just oversang the song. Blake warned her about doing it, but she didn't take his advice.

So I watched the audition rounds and haven't caught any of the battle rounds, when did Reba Mcentire join Blake Shelton's team?

Why? Because he actually challenged his team? He put them out of their comfort zone? Or because he didn't pick the girl who tried to sing over her competition? I think he's great. Christina is the only bad one.

Reba, along with all of the other music industry people helping the judges, started when the battle rounds began. This was their third week on the program.

This show is way more interesting than AI. I missed the first half of the show because of weather updates. They got signed to another season.

Challenging someone and making them sing something that doesn't fit them in any way are two different things.
It's like "Hey I've got George Strait and Alan Jackson on my team. I'm going to challenge them. I want you guys to sing "Caught Up" by Usher. I think it will really stretch them!"
He picked the country guy over the gay mormon guy, even though every judge agreed the Mormon guy won.

The song was within both of their capabilities as singers. It was a challenge not impossible. He wanted to see how they would handle being thrown something they're not used to. It's not like a rapper being forced to sing showtunes or vice versa.

Yeah. Both guys were really good. If you think the fact that the guy being gay and mormon open your eyes. Blake has said that he will do anything to help Tyler because he thinks he is a great singer but he thought Patrick was better.
Christina has been too easy. She isn't challenging anyone and isn't stretching anyone vocally. Just seems like she is picking the music she likes.
