I'm wondering if this one is worth going to see. It's gotten good reviews but I was wondering what you guys thought if you've seen it.
I'm not realy a huge Woody Allen fan but I have kind of a curisosity about Paris (though I've only been there once and pretty briefely at that). Mostly from books like A Moveabl Feast. Also, I usually find Owen Wilson pretty funny and watchable.

Well, to answer the OP, I haven't seen it, but its' supposed to be one of Allen's better recent movies. And I'm sure there will be plenty of Paris on display. Give it a shot.

is this movie playing within 300 miles of New Orleans?

The tennis/murder movie set in London with Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers was amazing. One of the best movies I've seen in a theater in the past 10 years.

Great news for people on the Movie/TV Board who have good taste in entertainment (which, judging from this thread, Boarwalk Empire threads, and Mad Men threads is relatively few of you) - Midnight in Paris is finally coming to New Orleans on 6/17.

I done seen this yestarday. It was pretty good. I would say the tennis film was better. This one is less juicy. Nice scenes of Paris throughout.

I saw this last night. Not bad at all, and I found it to be pretty funny.

it's supposed to be god-damn-delightful.
maybe Woody is finally finding a return to form after over a decade of shitty slumping.

Saw it tonight - loved it. Favorite movie of the year and I've seen everything that's buzzworthy I think.
I really got a thrill when Fitzgerald threw out an "old sport" to Gill, and Hemingway stole the show IMHO.
What a fun movie.

Very good movie, Methuselah. I would watch it again and I recommend it to you. When the movie ended I wanted more of it.
