I don't like SLU's chances at A&M, but they have already beating FIU. At least they could win one and maybe two before losing out.

USM is .500 against the SEC this year (6 games). I doubt any other non-SEC team has played that many against the SEC and a .500 record with midweek pitching is not bad at all.
USM will do well hosting Rice this weekend and conference tourney close to home in Jackson. A place USM has had a lot of success (1-1 this year).
USM has lost only 3 games at home all year. It doenst matter who the #2 seed is you have to like their chances to win a Hattiesburg regional

Have you followed college baseball over the last 2 seasons? SLU has ot beaten LSU, but won 40 games last season and may take an at-large bid this season. That's if they don't win the SLC Tourney. Southeastern has swept ULL this season, split with Tulane (swept them last season), beat FIU 2 out of 3, and beat Alabama. So, the answer to your question is absolutly no, but SLU is coming along nicely.

LSU has beaten SELA, Tulane (Twice), and Southern Miss. Having all three of them ahead of LSU in the NCAA Tourney is a joke. Especially if we finish with 32 or 33 wins and a HIGHER RPI than all three schools. SE LA has a RPI in the 60's! WOW!

I very much agree with you. RPI is weighed heaviest, but if you don't have the other creditials like not making your conference tourney, LSU loses a lot of leverage.
