What say the OB?

What is the most accurate gun you own and what was the best group you ever threw out of it?

I got my old arse 6.5x55 swede to stack 5 bullets in a .5 MOA group once and was damned proud. Haters gonna hate, but I put 4 30-30 bullets out of my marlin 336 in less than a .5 MOA group every single time I shoot it

The most accurate gun I've ever shot was the old man's tikka T3 .308
Put 6 shots in a hole you could cover up with a quarter off sandbags at 135 yards

My only rifles are my shitty Rossi .22 and my Savage .270, so the .270 it is.

.22's don't count because they are unfairly accurate usually. I guess I'll let you slide on that one

Remington 700 Police Sniper System

Leupold mark 4 4.5X14.

.308

lots of custom accurizing by a pro.

Most accurate is one my dad, the guy that built mine, built for strictly competition bench rest. .308 All custom based on short action remington.

100 yards 10 rounds all in the same hole that you could cover with a nickel.

The old man knows his shite.

My 30-06 no doubt.

Remington 700 and reloaded bullets.

I love that gun and would put it up against any other hunting rifle any day

Just happen to be the oldest son. He puts these things together for fun. My younger brother is a retired SEAL sniper with SDV 2.

We shoot pretty well.

I wasn't mentioning that it's accurate. It's a youth model deal, it's a crack barrel 20 ga with a .22 barrel you can switch in and out. The scope I put on it sucks, it's terribly inaccurate

Custom built .300 WIN MAG. The gun is way better than I am. With the right load it will group in the same hole. FYI, It is built on a Remington 700 action.

Sure as hell ain't my 7mag

Marlin V Bolt .17 is about as accurate as I've ever seen. Not so much in my hands but I can get them in there pretty close when I want too.

I swear half my rifles are better than me.

It's not a bad state of affairs when you think about it.

Don't get me wrong.

I am not nor have I ever been a SEAL.

But because of my brother I've known more than a few. And as a result I feel obligated to them

They are your worst nightmare for staying alive once they decide you've limited out.

Yea I caught that. It should be considered a great honor to even be in the company of one of those guys.

I've hung out with countless old guys that were in the service and a few young guys that were marines, rangers, and regular ol grunts. I feel obligated to at the very least buy em all their beer.

There are a lot of much shittier dudes to share a beer with.

Which is not to denegrate anyone else. We have a Lt Colonel from the spec ops community in our family as well as a long line of LRRPs and whatnot. It's practically a family ethic.

Tikka M693 in 7mm mag. Best group .340 inch , 3 shots. All handloads or factory under 1 inch. Just shot it this past weekend at 500 yards and still had about a 4- 5 inch group with 3 shots. And normally, 7 mags are not known for knife edge accuract.
