feel pretty obligated to tell people living in/around atlanta about this. probably the biggest game in georgia high school history.

in the final four right now and tomorrow night at Lassiter High School, Lassiter is playing Collins Hill at 8 pm. Lassiter is undefeated, number 1 in the state, and number 2 in the nation. Collins Hill is the 2 time defending state champion, ranked 2nd in the state, and 4th in the nation.

lassiter is about 35 minutes out of atlanta and i can give anyone interested in going more information. just thought some soccer lovers might not have much going on on a wednesday night and wanna see some pretty damn good soccer.

We played against Lassiter around 97. They were pretty good at just about everything if I recall.

Walton!

how did they do this year?

nvm they playing parkview. Lassiter Walton final could be epic. Esp since most of the kids prob play for the same club teams.

I see the girls are still good too.

yeah lassiter beat walton 1-0 with 16 seconds left in the second overtime for the region championship. lassiter is a better team but that damn bucky ball just packs it in and is effective as hell.

im pretty sure it's gonna be a walton-lassiter final at lassiter and it's gonna be absolutely packed. everyone knows each other, already played an absolute thriller, and huge rivals. im excited to see how this plays out.

well they are. i mean it's just the spring rankings obviously and i think it's only 23 states that do spring. other 27 divided into fall and winter.

even then, these two teams are absolutely top 10 in the country if you included every state. there's gonna be at least 15 D1 athletes on the field tomorrow (that includes sophomores and juniors that aren't signed anywhere yet).

LINK

1. irmo
2. lassiter
3. frank cox
4. collins hill

And you think a Georgia team is inherently better than an Alabama team because?
