With Kobe's age causing him to slightly decline, have they have became the sure-fire #1 and #2 guys in the league in the playoffs when everyone gives their best effort?

They have been the two best players in the NBA for a couple of years now.

So yes, they still are now.

Makes sense the Heat are probably going to win it all, doesn't it?

i dunno if Wade was definitely a top 2 guy, probably because he was never healthy. I'm sure a ton of people would have put Kobe ahead of him

better question is, are DWade/Lebron the best 2/3 combo ever in the NBA?

This is the key phrase. When Wade cares, he is absolutely the 2nd best player in the NBA, and has been for the last few years. However, he didn't care night in and night out until this year when the super team was created.

Wade has been healthy the last 3 years. Was 4-5 years ago where he was hurt a lot.

I wouldn't put Kobe over him, but if I were a GM starting a team I'd probably take Dwight

Awesome. Ghazi is back. Your meltdown when the Mavs lose to the Heat will be epic.

Not night in and night out over the last few years. Sure, he was always good for great highlights, but he didn't play hard every night like LeBron and Kobe. But, to be fair, his team wasn't a championship contender. The motivation wasn't there.

I remember very vividly a couple years ago when Wade had that bad shoulder injury, a lot of talking heads were claiming he would never be good again and that he was washed up. Said that b/c of his couple years @ Marquette (all the extra mileage) and early playoff runs where he put the Heat on his back, that he was washed-up and would never make a full return
