He has a 2.24 ERA in 60.1 innings with a 4-2 record this year for the Cajuns. Thought some of you might be interested in a former Tiger's success.

I was thinking more along the lines of a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII.

Yeah, because LSU has no room on their team for that kind of pitcher.

Loving those former weekday matchups on the weekend. Good for him.

You think the Sun Belt is equivalent to just a weekday matchup? I know most LSU fans don't watch any other baseball outside of LSU, but come on.

Sounds like a problem with coaching to me.

Yes, Absolutely. Those are the type of teams we play during the week and the type of teams Nicholson had to pitch against to have any success against. He stunk vs. good teams

The Sun Belt is the 6th best conference in baseball according to RPI. Playing in the SBC is much different than playing Mississippi Valley, Sacred Heart, McNeese, Northwestern, Alcorn State. The Sun Belt produces a lot of good players. Florida International is #33, Troy is #40, Florida Atlantic is #45. LSU doesn't play those kinds of teams midweek.

Maybe one day it will achieve 5th best. Don't give up hope.
