I'm also in the market for a new shed. I'd appreciate some recommendations.

Check out the stuff from rubbermaid and whatever brand home depot carries. They are plastic and easy to put together if they are large enough for you.

I've had a rubbermaid shed for the last 8 yrs and haven't had one bit of trouble with it. Everyone in a while I'll go over it with a pressure washer and it looks good as new.

What aprox size are you looking for?

I'm looking to build one soon in the 30 x 40 range and my best option seems to be a pole barn style with metal roof.

If you want something a little smaller, I just helped a buddy put together one of those 10 x 14 metal prefabs from Lowes. About $500 not including flooring material and the thing is about as sturdy as a beer can cut in half.

I had a Rubbermaid until the wind took it out. Went for a Morgan building this time around.

I have a cheap metal building from sears and I hate it. Next time around I'll either get a Morgan building or go all out and build something myself.

I've been looking myself. The ones that Home Depot sell are very nice, but a little pricey for what I want.

Anybody had any luck with those lots up and down Airline that sell the wooden sheds? They look to have quaility stuff, but any idea on the prices?

Look into Carolina Carports. They make those metal garage type deals.

You can also get some built like sheds. You pay them they show up at your door and they put it all together. If you are looking into a pole barn I don't think you can buy materials to build it for cheaper than what they offer a put together package.

I bought a 12 x 16 tuff shed from Home Depot last October. Wasn't the cheapest route but I was happy with the results and product. I wanted something legit back there.

Just had carolina carports put one up for me 30x41 with 3 roll up doors 2 windows and a 3 x6'8" door 12 gauge framing 26 gauge metal cost about 13k installed without the slab. The slab cost around 6k including dirt work and forming.

I bought a 10x16 Morgan building a few weeks ago...love it. Very sturdy construction, loft in the back for extra storage, I had them install a window on one side and give me a ramp for the front. All of the options and tax came to right around $2900....delivery and set up included. They will build onsite if needed, but it is about 10% more.
