I don't think the NCAA uses Rivals as the grades clearinghouse

True, but why would someone lie about it to a Rivals site.
I do know that Mississippi State has never had much problem getting basketball players cleared and eligible.

FWIW Shawn is on campus and taking his official visit to Mississippi State today. It is great timing because we are opening our new basketball practice facility this week, and Im sure he will be the first to get an official tour.

Rivals usually posts the complete gpa. Does anyone knwo what his core GPA is? A 20 on the ACT gives a lot of wriggle room.
