What about Mike Ford?

I think a lot of people are sleeping on this cat.
Yes, Ware might just be our most versatile, dynamic playmaker on offense (he can catch, obviously he can run, and heck, he can throw it, if need be).
Yes, Gore has shown far more make-you-missability than Shep has and he hasn't even made it into a game yet.
But, Mike Ford is a home-run threat at tailback. I'm not sure Ware has his speed, or his sudden-cut ability. He is definitely not going to be the guy that beats you the edge like a Ford can on a toss or a sweep.
Just my opinion, but don't sleep on Mike Ford...

Ford is the next K Williams
For some reason he will never get the carries the fans thinks he deserves.
#1 get his academics in order
#2 no one here knows his practice habits
#3 to play a lot of football Miles tends to prefer those backs that can do a little of everything and Ware is that guy coming out of spring
#4 yeah he's had a couple of nice runs against SEC competition but how is he grading out every play, is he missing blocks
That all factors into playing time so far Ford has not earned

The best back will play. And the top 3 are special and would start for many SEC teams.
Our OC is different than that assclown that is no longer here. He'll play the best at that time. And save all the JJ BS, JJ is the best right now, but that could easily change over the summer once everyone else is completely up to speed.

love ford and his yards after contact, I really don't get what the coaches see in Blue over him. Blue isn't bad, I just don't see anything in his game that stands out.

What about him? Is he going to wear #18?

Lulz. The rant loves MF42. He was the one who shoulda started over Ridley remember

I think you're going to see Ford as our option back.
We're going to telegraph our play calls based on personnel just like we did with Keiland.
If Keiland was in the game the chance of the play being an option went up about 400%. Expect the same with Ford.

The only person sleeping on Ford is Miles.

I think you will see 'packages' evolve:
jefferson - ford
mett - ware, gore

Lol, Ware has more explosiveness in his left pinkie than Ford does in his whole body. Will people stop making excuses for this guy? He hasn’t lived up to the billing so far, period.
