haha... yeah... shopping in India is fricking cool if you're white

all the salespeople know you have money so they're throwing all their wares in front of you... we probably looked at 50 saris before I picked one.. and I was only looking at blue saris... the prices ranged from 5000 rupees (a little over 100 dollars.. about 45:1) to 18000... and I didn't look at the really cheap ones that were about 2500-5000

same basic story at the jewelry store we went to.. and the stonecarving store in Mahabalipuram... so much fun to shop here
